i just went malaysia a few days ago due to 清明. haha to my parents, yea it is, but to me, it's considered as a holiday! haha. so my mum n i set off to malaysia around 3, then settled ourselves at my grandparents hse @Kulai. then we have our dinner my grandparents hse. watch tv n stuff till 1am. my uncle picked us up n we sat his car, with his family to Kampar@Ipoh. that tiring ride took us 8hours+++(inclusive of sleeping 1hour @ one of the stations along the highway)

haha the trip was abt food. food food n food. breakfast we went to the kampar food centre, crowded like crap but somehow managed to find a seat for 15. so i had curry noodles in the morning, n then after eating my mum n i went around kampar to look to stuffs to buy while the others go to do what they suppose to do during 清明. after abt 12 to 1 we meet up again to take a break at the same food centre n ordered drinks. haha all sorts of drinks lor. orange, coffee, some other drinks that cant be found in singapore normal hawker centre. interesting. haha n we ate char que tiao aso.

then we headed to our hotel @ kampar. The Grand Kampar Hotel. haha. Room 311 was ours, so we entered. i was impressed by their toilet, big n spacious. (: so we left our luggage in there n then my mum went to visit her long lost friend, while i followed the others to have lunch at some hawker centre. there isn't fan or anything, nth to chill out, so drinks was kinda important. so i had asam laksa for lunch, intro-ed by my cousin. haha yea it was sour n spicy n nice! sweat the water out of me. :P ate rojak, fishball soup as well. full? no not really. haha.

then we went back to hotel to rest, after all we had like almost 20+ hrs nvr have enough sleep. so i bath n then went to sleep. like around 6.30pm like that we went down to meet other realatives. in the meantime, we asked for wifi access at the hotel, fb like 5 min n then we set off for our dinner at Jalan Tualang. haha we thought there wasn't enough seats, so we asked the waitress outside, then she directed us to go to the back alley n we were like sort of suspicious of it, but eventually we followed n my mum thought we're going to have dinner at the back of the alley! NO. we went to the opposite side of the restaurant n saw a table there. the waitress gather some ppl to arrange the dining cloth n glasses n a larger table. eventually we're actually having a dinner at someone else's cafe! but the cafe wasn't open ,so the boss allowed the restaurant to use the tables there. though the food is nice, the chefs there weren't that good, not becos of cooking, but is becos of their working attitude. once they see the crowd in the restaurant subsides, they thought of slacking. sad.

when we finished our dinner, it's alr 10pm. so we planned to chill out at a nearby cafe close to our hotel. i ordered orange ice-blended, after all there wasn't mango soda n green apple ice-blended. grr. then watched jackie chan movie, n then by the time we watched finish it was near to 12, so we went back hotel to have a good sleep. haha. the tv in the hotel was so boring. nothing much to watch.

Day2

we woke up n had buffet breakfast at the cafe at lobby level. ordered an omelette n 2 half-boiled eggs, cos we still have to eat at the kampar food centre again. haha. then went back to the food centre n ate chee cheong fun added with some toppings. lastly, we went to collect kampar kaya puffs(NICE!!! (:) n yep. the end of kampar. we went straight back to Kulai. the 8 hour journey back was sunny n funny. went to the KFC along the highway stops. but there wasn't enough seats for us, so we went back to kulai n had our lunch/dinner @ 5pm. ordered a seafood spaghetti with lemon sprite. (:

there, the end of my malaysian trip. but guess what. it's only 33% of my fun completed only. the other 66% is yet to come. (: haha
